Slower and slower launch

I have been using Mental Case for a few months and have gotten 11 Case with a total of 233 slides. (Not very many really) I have noticed that Mental Case has gotten very slow during its initial launch 1 Min 15 Sec. and that the program has slowed down quite a bit. (Subsequent Mental Case launches, after my Mac's been on for a while and has launched MC once are faster.) Has anyone else experienced this type of performance 'hit' and are there any suggestions for improving performance? I have many more slides I would like to add, but am concerned that MC will not be able to handle this.

The slides are mostly images/graphics for both prompt and Main content.

Note, I'm running:

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro3,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz

Images in Notes

Hi Andrew,

I haven't heard of such poor performance before, but perhaps you are one of few people that have so many images.

In the next release of Mental Case, due out in a week or two, there will be improvements to image handling. Basically, they will be more compressed internally. Hopefully this will help in future.

It would be very useful to us if you could give us a copy of your Mental Case library for testing. If you don't mind doing this, please contact our support email for details on how to transfer the library.
