Edit note info during slide show

I would like to be able to temporarily suspend the slide show (without losing my progress), to view and edit the current note's information.
(And I hope that that information might come to include a 'Comments' field, where one could record memory tricks, explanations, references, and additional information, as needed. See my post on appending additional comments to notes.) Once that viewing or editing is done, a single click or keystroke would bring you back to the point where you left off in the slide show.

Clutter

Hmm, the toolbar would start getting a bit cluttered. I can see that you might want to do this, but the question is whether it would add unnecessary complexity. I think most people are either in 'editing' mode or in 'viewing' mode. But an 'edit' button is something to consider...

Resuming slideshows

I think there is definitely a case for having a 'Resume Slideshow' menu item.

That would help. But say

That would help. But say you're in a slide show, and you want to edit the note you're on? How about a button that would take you straight from the slide show to the editing view for that particular note?
