Additional Lesson Types

It seems to me that the currently-available lesson schedules are good for review. But I have seen some flash card techniques that are used for learning a set of information from scratch, where you see the same flash cards repeatedly during a single session (i.e. slide show). You see a card again much sooner, and more frequently, if you get it wrong. You only get introduced to new cards gradually, as you master the previously-viewed cards. The session might go on indefinitely, but always adapting to your progress, and always reviewing cards you've already seen during the slide show, at just the point where you would be likely to forget them. This would be a very useful thing to have, in addition to the excellent review lessons that are already built-in.
