Smart Folders and Tagging

For me, tagging would be a nice convenience, because it's a little more flexible than the simple folder system, that exists currently. And the ability to create custom smart folders seems very useful, to me. Especially if combined with tagging, such that the smart folders can include particular tags in their criteria. Other smart folder criteria might include number of reviews, (un)successful reviews, last review (un)successful, created since/prior to [date], created more/less than [time] ago, contained in [folder(s)], etc...

Offhand, I foresee using smart folders for such things as grouping newer notes, or brand new, as yet un-reviewed notes, so that I could easily go through them and learn them more effectively than through the lesson schedule. (Because I understand that when viewing the notes in a folder, the notes you get wrong are added back to the end of the list of notes you will review during that slide show.) I might also use smart folders to see the notes that have not been reviewed in over a certain amount of time, which would allow me to go back and periodically review old notes that I mastered a long time ago, to make sure I still know them.

Smart Folders

These are definitely things we want to support in future.
