Creating Themes in Mental Case

Although there is no official support for creating your own themes in Mental Case -- yet -- it is quite easy to do 'unofficially', certainly if you are familiar with HTML/CSS/Javascript. All you need to do is copy a theme (with extension .mctheme) from inside the Mental Case application bundle (right click on Mental Case, and choose 'Show Package Contents, and navigate to Contents/PlugIns) in the following directory

~/Library/Application Support/Mental Case/PlugIns

You need to make this directory yourself in Finder.

Then change the name of the theme, and edit the HTML/CSS files etc inside to make your theme. When you relaunch MC, you should have the new theme available.

If anyone does make a cool theme, and wants to have it included in Mental Case, send it along and we will take a look.

Dark Text

Thanks for this tip. I was able to make the text in the Big Text theme more legible. Am I missing something, or is there is reason for dark-gray-on-black text? At first, I thought there was some kind of bug that was darkening the slide along with the background items outside the window. Maybe it's just my eyes, but I'm baffled by this color choice. Otherwise, a great program!

Re: Dark Text

Point taken. We are going to lighten the text in the next release (1.2.1).
