The Mental Case Wishlist
Sadly, you can only make one choice in the poll, so I voted for Collections/Folders. If you have 20 or 30 cases all related to the same subject (like I do) it would be handy.
My other big wish would be to attach an audio file to a note. As I use MC for language learning, this would be a big plus. I don't really see an application for video.
Ability to change the text size would be great, as mentioned in a previous post, I think this would allow MC to export JPG slides to the iPhone that would be more readable.
If the Mental Case genii would grant me three wishes, that's what I would wish for!

Import delimited text and other formats
The ability to take a long, comma-separated vocabulary list and automatically parse it into separate cards would save me tons of time. Similarly, being able to automatically import information from Omnioutliner would be super.

OmniOutliner and AppleScript
Importing from other programs is a bit tricky. To begin with you have to decided which ones, and how they should map to notes in Mental Case. OmniOutliner, for example, can produce hierarchical trees of information, where Mental Case just supports simple multi-part notes.
Our preference would be to support Applescript in Mental Case, and leave it to power users to write scripts to import/export to/from other applications and files. This is certainly in the planning, but at this stage there are quite a few bigger fish to fry.
If there are people out there waiting for AppleScript support, let your voice be heard.

CSV Data Import
This functionality is already available. Mental Case can import CSV (comma-separated values) data. You just enter one line for each note:
red, rood
church, kerk
road, weg
And them import the file via the Import menu item under File.

Audio input
The ability to record, link and embed audio would make it the best system for language lessons, ever.
A feature for Mental Notes to speak the word, then show you the answer is something every beginner will appreciate.
Second the request for audio support
Support for audio would make this my ideal tool for learning bird sounds.

My wishlist
Folders/Smart folders - absolutely! I would like to be able to put cards from one case into other categories/cases as you can in iFlash without having to duplicate cards. It would also be nice to have multiple sides to cards. I'm studying Japanese kanji and I'd like to be able to store the character, English meaning, Chinese reading and Japanese reading on a single card and then choose which combination of sides I'd like to review (for example Character to Chinese reading one day, English meaning to Character another).
I agree re Hierarchical Folders
The ability to organize notes hierarchically (and view them in an outline form ) would be great. That way you could focus on narrower sub-topics. Along with that, one would want the ability to drag and drop folders into other folders.
